Who is responsible

LiveMemories is operated by Eduardo Quesada Sevillano, Barcelona (Spain). Contact: support@livememories.app.

What data we process

Account: your email, the name you choose and, if you use them, the identifiers of your Google or Apple account. Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication and we never see them.
Your content: the photos, videos, titles and albums you create.
Sharing: the people who have access to your cards and albums, the links you create and the notifications about them (for example, that someone has discovered your surprise).
Purchases: the product, the date and the store transaction identifier. Payment is handled by Apple or Google; we never receive your card details.
Technical data: when you last opened the app and when a card was last viewed, your phone model and whether it supports augmented reality, and, if you allow notifications, a notification identifier and the language of your phone.

We do not use advertising, we do not sell your data and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we use it for

To provide the service: store your cards, sync them between your phones, recognise your photos and share them with the people you choose (performance of the contract).
To manage purchases and keep the records required by law (legal obligation).
To send you the notifications you have allowed.
To send you important emails about the service and its news, such as a new version. You can unsubscribe at any time (legitimate interest).
To keep the service working and its costs under control, for example deleting inactive free cards as described in the terms of use (legitimate interest).

Permissions on your phone

Camera: to take photos, record videos and recognise your printed photos. While you scan, the camera image is analysed on your phone only: it is not recorded or sent anywhere.
Photos and videos: only the ones you pick for a card. The app does not read the rest of your gallery.
Microphone: only while you record a video for a card.
Notifications: optional. You can turn them off at any time in your phone settings.

The app does not use your location or your contacts, and it contains no advertising or analytics tools.

Who processes it for us

We use Google Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd.) for accounts, data, file storage and notifications, with data stored in the European Union where the service allows it. Apple and Google process purchases in their stores. An email delivery provider sends those emails for us. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

The people you share a card or album with can see it, together with your name.

Security

Your data travels encrypted between your phone and our servers and is stored encrypted. Only you and the people you share a card or album with can see it.

How long we keep it

While your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your data and your content; purchase records are kept for the period required by tax law. Free cards that have been inactive for 18 months are deleted, as explained in the terms of use.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict its processing, by writing to support@livememories.app. You can delete your account and all its data at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account) or by following the steps on the account deletion page. You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

Children

LiveMemories is not intended for children under 14 without the consent of their parents or guardians.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here and, if the changes are important, we will let you know in the app.

Qué datos tratamos

Cuenta: tu email, el nombre que elijas y, si los usas, los identificadores de tu cuenta de Google o de Apple. Las contraseñas las gestiona Firebase Authentication y nunca las vemos.
Tu contenido: las fotos, vídeos, títulos y álbumes que creas.
Compartir: las personas con acceso a tus tarjetas y álbumes, los enlaces que creas y los avisos relacionados (por ejemplo, que alguien ha descubierto tu sorpresa).
Compras: el producto, la fecha y el identificador de la transacción de la tienda. El pago lo gestionan Apple o Google; nunca recibimos los datos de tu tarjeta.
Datos técnicos: cuándo abriste la app por última vez y cuándo se vio una tarjeta por última vez, el modelo de tu móvil y si admite realidad aumentada y, si permites los avisos, un identificador de avisos y el idioma del móvil.

No usamos publicidad, no vendemos tus datos y no te seguimos en otras apps ni webs.

Para qué los usamos

Para prestar el servicio: guardar tus tarjetas, sincronizarlas entre tus móviles, reconocer tus fotos y compartirlas con quien elijas (ejecución del contrato).
Para gestionar las compras y conservar los registros que exige la ley (obligación legal).
Para enviarte los avisos que hayas permitido.
Para enviarte por email avisos importantes sobre el servicio y sus novedades, como una versión nueva. Puedes darte de baja en cualquier momento (interés legítimo).
Para que el servicio funcione y sus costes estén controlados, por ejemplo eliminando las tarjetas gratuitas inactivas como se explica en las condiciones de uso (interés legítimo).

Permisos en tu móvil

Cámara: para hacer fotos, grabar vídeos y reconocer tus fotos impresas. Mientras escaneas, la imagen de la cámara se analiza solo en tu móvil: no se graba ni se envía a ningún sitio.
Fotos y vídeos: solo los que eliges para una tarjeta. La app no lee el resto de tu galería.
Micrófono: solo mientras grabas un vídeo para una tarjeta.
Avisos: opcionales. Puedes desactivarlos cuando quieras en los ajustes del móvil.

La app no usa tu ubicación ni tus contactos, y no incluye publicidad ni herramientas de analítica.

Quién los trata por nosotros

Usamos Google Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd.) para las cuentas, los datos, el almacenamiento de ficheros y los avisos, con los datos guardados en la Unión Europea cuando el servicio lo permite. Apple y Google tratan las compras en sus tiendas. Un proveedor de envío de correo manda esos emails por nosotros. Algunos de estos proveedores pueden tratar datos fuera de la UE con las cláusulas contractuales tipo de la Comisión Europea.

Las personas con quienes compartes una tarjeta o un álbum pueden verlo, junto con tu nombre.

Seguridad

Tus datos viajan cifrados entre tu móvil y nuestros servidores y se guardan cifrados. Solo los veis tú y las personas con quienes compartes una tarjeta o un álbum.

Cuánto tiempo los guardamos

Mientras exista tu cuenta. Al eliminarla, borramos tus datos y tu contenido; los registros de compras se conservan el plazo que exige la normativa fiscal. Las tarjetas gratuitas inactivas durante 18 meses se eliminan, como se explica en las condiciones de uso.

Tus derechos

Puedes acceder a tus datos, corregirlos, eliminarlos o exportarlos, y oponerte a su tratamiento o limitarlo, escribiendo a support@livememories.app. Puedes eliminar tu cuenta y todos sus datos en cualquier momento desde la app (Perfil → Eliminar cuenta) o siguiendo los pasos de la página de eliminación de cuenta. También puedes reclamar ante la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Menores

LiveMemories no está dirigida a menores de 14 años sin el consentimiento de sus padres o tutores.

Cambios

Si cambiamos esta política, publicaremos la nueva versión aquí y, si los cambios son importantes, te avisaremos en la app.
