How does LiveMemories work?

Create a card with a photo and a video. Print the photo (or use one you already have printed). When you point the camera at the printed photo from the Scan button, the video plays on top of it.

How do I print the photo?

Print exactly the photo you chose for the card, at any size (a postcard, a 10×15 print…). Matte paper works better than glossy paper because it has fewer reflections.

The camera does not recognise my photo

• Use good light and avoid reflections on the photo.
• Keep the photo flat and fill most of the screen with it.
• Move the phone slowly for a few seconds: some phones need a moment to start.
• Make sure you are scanning the album or card that contains that photo.

What is a surprise?

When you share a card as a surprise, the other person sees the photo but not the video. The video is revealed when they scan the printed photo, for example a postcard you sent them. You can also choose a date before which the video cannot be seen.

How do I share a card or an album?

Open it and tap Share. The app creates a link that you can send by WhatsApp, email or any other app. Receiving cards is always free.

I used the previous version of LiveMemories

Sign in with the same email and password: your cards and your purchased cards are in your account. If you do not remember your password, use “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in screen.

I did not receive the email

Check your Spam or Junk folder: emails from LiveMemories sometimes end up there.

How many cards can I create?

Your first card is free. You can buy more in Profile → Buy cards. Deleting a card frees its place, and changing its photo or video is free.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete account. More information on the account deletion page.
